Work Experience Programme – Business Development/R&D

We can only offer one week for this role, please only apply if you are available on the 3rd to the 7th June 2024.

Our Work Experience offers School Students the chance to spend one week, working alongside our experienced R&D Engineers as well as our Marketing professionals to get an insight into various areas of space Industry, whilst gaining some new skills.

Key Tasks

We are thrilled to be able offer work experience here at SSTL for the summer of 2024. We are looking for Years 10 to 13 who have an interest in gaining valuable experience within the Space Industry.

During this week, students will receive a tour of SSTL and get the chance to get a real hands-on experience of what it is like to be working in Business Development within the Space industry by spending time in Research and Development and Business Development departments.

SSTL do not expect applicants to have any prior knowledge or previous experience showing a keen interest in this direction of career is desirable.

SSTL endeavour to offer work experience to as many students as possible, therefore due to the high number of applicants we are unable to accept applications from students who have previously.

Location

Work experience will be based in our head office in Guildford and will be Monday to Friday. Our office provides free parking, secure bike lock and easy access via shuttle bus from Guildford town centre and train station. We have an onsite (card only) canteen and ample tea and coffee stations throughout.
